Flying Manes Therapeutic Riding is a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA) member center that offers therapeutic horseback riding lessons and activities aimed at teaching the foundations of equine behavior and equine care.

Flying Manes aspires to be a premier therapeutic riding center in the New York metropolitan area. It aims to operate in a professional environment that fulfills the highest standards established by NARHA and to create a supportive community characterized by continuous learning and improvement. The core values Flying Manes strives toward in its work are safety, respect, recognition, independence, and growth.
Our Facility
Flying Manes operates at Riverdale Equestrian Centre, a premier horseback riding facility in New York. Riverdale Equestrian Centre is located on 21 acres in Van Cortland Park and features an indoor arena, several outdoor arenas, and immediate access to the trails in the park.
Whom We Serve
Flying Manes participants represent diverse backgrounds. They are children and adults of all ages above four years with a wide variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, including, but not limited to:
